Contact and scope

This policy explains information handling for globalindextrader.com. For privacy questions, complaints, access, correction or deletion requests, contact Steve at steve@globalindextrader.com.

Enquiries

The forms use your name, email, enquiry category, message and optional broker name to prepare an enquiry. In email-app mode, details stay in your browser until you choose to send the prepared email through your provider. When website email delivery is enabled, form details are submitted to the website email service for delivery to the developer. The form explains which method is used.

Email

Enquiries are handled through the developer’s Spaceship Spacemail mailbox to answer questions, provide support and discuss requested trial information. Sending an enquiry does not subscribe you to marketing. Do not include trading passwords, investor passwords, card numbers or identity documents.

Hosting and providers

The website host may record normal access and security logs, such as IP address, page requested, time and browser information. Hosting and email providers process information needed to operate their services and may process data outside your country. Your email provider also handles messages you choose to send.

Cookies and analytics

Optional first-party website analytics runs only after you choose Allow analytics. It records random visitor/session IDs, pages, times, referral categories, permitted campaign labels, browser/device information and observed engagement. IP addresses are anonymised by default; full IP storage can be enabled with encryption and a short retention limit. Default activity retention is 90 days and visitor IDs are retained for up to 180 days. You can decline tracking or withdraw consent using Privacy preferences; withdrawal removes this browser’s linked analytics records and cookies. Security request logs used to detect bots are separate, contain no page-query values, and are retained under the configured activity limit. These are estimates of browser activity, not identification of individual people. No analytics data is sent to an external advertising service. MQL5 and other external websites apply their own privacy and cookie policies.

Retention and requests

Enquiries are kept as needed to respond, provide support and meet applicable record-keeping requirements. You can request access, correction or deletion of information held about you. Some records may need to be retained for legal or security reasons. Contact the developer with a privacy concern.

Payments

MQL5 handles Market accounts, orders, payment information and product activations under its own policies. This website does not collect card details or trading passwords. Trial applications collect the MT5 account number and exact broker server needed for account binding.

Account-bound trial registration

Trial applications collect your name, email, MT5 account number, account type and exact broker server. Applications are stored encrypted on the server and can be viewed and exported only through the private administrator dashboard. Submitting an application is not consent to marketing emails. Addresses are treated as unverified until email verification is completed. Applications may be held pending activation setup; the form confirms this status without claiming that an email was sent. Email verification is required before an activation code is issued. The private licensing database retains account binding and activation/expiry records to prevent trial resets. Download tokens expire after 24 hours. Email credentials and private signing keys stay on the server; queued email bodies are encrypted and cleared after provider acceptance. Registration does not start trading or require an account password. Contact steve@globalindextrader.com for access, correction or deletion requests; limited records may be retained to prevent repeated trials or meet legal obligations. If you consent to analytics, verified registration and activation may be attributed to your website session without including account numbers or email in analytics events.
